Gilpin Hall's unique facility design promotes privacy and independence in a home-like environment.  Private and shared rooms are arranged in clusters, creating "neighborhoods" within the Gilpin Hall community.  Room arrangements accommodate many lifestyles; couples, singles, private or shared.  Each wing of the building includes a sunny screened porch, a lounge and a modern bathing spa featuring both a shower and whirlpool tub.  All floors enjoy their own community dining area.

The entire facility is wheelchair friendly with plenty of room to maneuver.  Resident rooms have been designed with the special needs of our seniors in mind.  Call bells are located in the living area, as well as in the bathrooms.  Each room has its own heating and cooling controls, a direct telephone line, which can be activated by the resident, and cable TV, which is included in the daily rate.

Our premises are protected by electronic security devices which are designed to enhance resident safety.  Special bracelet alarms are available to residents who may be at risk for wandering.
